Features
Opinion Search
Search for emotions, opinions and ideas
Enter a topic, person or brand and focus your search by lists, sentiment, and date. Use advanced search for complex search queries. Enable the profanity filter and set the aggregate tonality.
Widgets
Create Buzz, Slideshow and Carousel Widgets
Embed buzz, slideshow or carousel widgets in your website.
To add sound and dynamic effects use the Flash widget and choose between Buzz and Slideshow views. The Buzz view is optimal for small rectangular spaces while the Slideshow view works best in full-page width. The Javascript Carousel widget looks great in sidebars, can be fully skinned and has a small footprint.
Opinion River
Get summaries of breaking and popular topics
Get topic digests in lists of contacts you track or in entire Twitterverse, Blogosphere, or across all public sources.
Sentiment Analytics
Go beyond simplistic positive or negative gradation
Cuesense grades every tweet and blog in 11 emotional dimensions including Acceptance, Anger, Anticipation, Disgust, Fear, Guilt, Interest, Joy, Sadness, Shame, and Surprise. These dimensions are the results of academic research in the area of human psychology by Paul Ekman, Carroll Izard, and Robert Plutchik. In addition to 11 emotions, Cuesense also undestands positive and negative qualities such as "abrasive", "adaptable" or "elegant".
Informal Language
Understand informal language in tweets and blogs
Cuesense can understand informal text too, which comes especially handy in evaluating tweets and blog comments. We use a range of textual cues to evaluate and grade text:
Abbreviations: words like "awol", "b4", "thx"
Degree adverbs: words like "truly", "exclusively"
Emoticons: ":D" , ":-("
Idioms: phrases like "stand out", "a cut below"
Interjections: words like "hola", "ta ta"
Capitalization: e.g. "GREAT"
Negations: words like "never" or "neither"
Prefixes: parts of words like "hyper-" and "under-"
